Anthropic Memory is convenient inside the Anthropic stack and, per Anthropic's public docs, does not travel with the customer to a second vendor. SynOI Vault (content-addressed) is cross-vendor, reconstructable via supersession chains, and exports signed receipts.
What this covers
If Anthropic is your only LLM and your audit story is that you trust Anthropic, Anthropic Memory is the right call. If your audit story has to survive a vendor swap, it is not.
